Riding is a tradition based sport and implementing sports science is relatively new to the equestrian world.

As a life-long rider, certified instructor, and Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), I understand the sport and the skills needed to optimize performance. I also understand the lifestyle that goes along with riding, as many of us do more in the barn, besides riding.

Do you have anything physically stopping you

from achieving your best while riding?

Do you:

  • Have back, neck, knee or shoulder pain,
  • Have tight or painful hips,
  • Have one shoulder or hand higher than the other,
  • Bounce in the saddle,
  • Feel unsteady or unsafe,
  • Sit crooked, or
  • Consistently lean to one side?

Let’s fix what’s preventing you from achieving

the goals you dream about!

Remember, the horse is a reflection of us. While riding, our physical issues will show up as:

  • Unsoundness
  • Behavioral problems
  • Crookedness
  • Unevenness
  • Consistent wrong canter leads
  • Resistance
  • Evasion

Many riders try so hard, but their bodies fail them. It's time to check your musculoskeletal system and make sure your body is balanced and working at optimum level.

The Rider's Mechanic implements different

massage and bodywork modalities such as:

  • Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy
  • Sports Massage
  • Myofascial Release
  • Neuromuscular Therapy
  • Positional Release
  • Active Isolated Stretching

I have the knowledge and understanding of movement patterns associated with riding that can get you balanced and be moving well in the saddle.

"We welcome you to experience
our table and talents!"
